About Rodney Long Jr.
Helping Men Break Free from the Grip of Pornography & Gambling Addiction
My name is Rodney Long Jr. I am a licensed mental health counselor in Tallmadge, Ohio, and founder of Covenant Men Counseling. I specialize in helping men overcome pornography and gambling addiction through faith-based, practical counseling that leads to lasting change. Above all, my hope is to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit and help those who hope to, come to know Christ. I’m married to married to Sara, with one son – Rodney Long III. We share our home in Akron, Ohio, with two dogs, Diego a Pit Bull (the crazy one) mix and Daisy, a Beagle mix (the lazy one).
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in social work from Malone University and my Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
I got into this work because I love helping my brothers. And that’s real man. You don’t have to be a psychologist to help people. You just need a heart and some knowhow. Fortunately, I went to school at some really great places, learned a lot, and figured out how to really help guys get the help they need. I’m one of the only guys doing this.
